Grant Writing & Admin Support

Bring your professional skills to a mission that will outlast all of us.

Why This Role Matters

  • Draft and edit grant applications under the direction of the ZionSphere team
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as data entry, scheduling, and correspondence
  • Help organize program documentation, impact reports, and compliance records
  • Provide professional feedback on communications and materials

Typical Shift

Primarily remote/flexible โ€” most work can be done on your own schedule.

5โ€“15 hours per month depending on active grant cycles. Flexible and project-based.

Requirements

  • Strong writing skills โ€” grant writing experience is a significant plus
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to meet deadlines
  • Proficiency with standard office tools (Google Docs, email, spreadsheets)
  • Must be 18 years or older

Screening Requirements

  • No drug screening required for this role.
  • A background check may be requested depending on level of access to organizational data.

Training

Grant Writing volunteers receive an orientation to ZionSphere's mission, programs, and funding history. We'll provide templates, past applications, and guidance on our voice and priorities. Admin support volunteers will be onboarded by the ZionSphere team lead.
