What Silicon Valley Hasn't: Faith-Driven Immersive Tech
You don't have to be in San Francisco to build world-class technology. ZionSphere — a full-stack virtual reality platform with 4 live platforms and years of serious development behind it — was conceived, built, and is being launched from Rocky Mount, North Carolina, a city of 50,000 people in the eastern part of the state.

Rocky Mount, NC
Population: ~54,000
Distance from Research Triangle: 60 miles

The Story
ZionSphere is proof that innovation doesn't require a coastal zip code. Built by an entrepreneur who saw a gap — between where young people spend their time and where faith formation happens — and decided to close it with real technology. The result is a multi-platform VR faith experience with custom Unity environments, native mobile apps, a proprietary CMS, and a gamified spiritual progression system. All of it built east of Raleigh.
The Rural Innovation Angle
Why This Matters Beyond Faith
Demonstrates that deep-tech development is viable in rural markets Creates a template for faith-community entrepreneurs nationwide Rocky Mount has strong community ties — ideal for grassroots launch What's Been Built Locally

We're building right here — because the people we want to serve are right here, in communities across eastern NC and across America, asking the same questions about faith and technology."
